Goodman Pool Swim Team - Goodman Pool Sharks
Goodman Pool and McFarland Spartan’s have created a gold medal partnership with the Sharks swim team at Goodman Pool. This competitive swim team is open to the youth of Madison, 6 years and older, who have had previous swim lessons and are comfortable swimming at least 2 lengths of the pool.
The Sharks Swim Team offers an environment where the swimmers enjoy the experience of competitive swimming through improvement of their strokes and racing techniques, improved personal race times, appreciation of team friendships and team spirit. Swimmers will enjoy daily practices with expert coaching at Goodman Pool and competitive swim meets throughout the season.
Dates
June 15-July 31: 6 week program:
- Parent’s Meeting: Wednesday, June 1 at 6:30
- Week 1: June 15-19, Monday - Friday, 7:00-9:00a.m.
- Weeks 2-6: June 22 - July 31, Monday-Friday, 9:00a.m.-10:00a.m.
Age Groups
- Ages 12 and Under
- Ages 12 and Over (or 12 and over with no swim team experience)
Parent’s Meeting
A mandatory parent’s meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 1 at 6:30 at the Goodman Pool to cover material in the Parent’s Handbook relating to: team responsibilities, swim team practices, swim meets and to answer questions.
